Nakagin Capsule Tower Looks to be From the Future, But Probably Won’t Make it There

The unique Nakagin Capsule Tower in Tokyo is a futuristic-looking architectural marvel. But without local support for maintenance and preservation, it may not survive long enough for the future to see it.

Nakagin was built in the Metabolist style of the 1970s by late Japanese architect Kurokawa Kisho. The tower rises 14 floors and is composed of 140 individual capsules designed to be either apartments or business offices. So Im now back in the south east I am currently in Alabama while I wait on a place in Nashville. It has been a crazy journey.There was a report of A tornado in of all places TUNICA and I was about 20 miles away from where It was at . So I thought why not just try to out run it ( I mean who wants to die in TUNICA , sorry but thats just not the poetic end I’m looking for ) So any way everythings fine . Once I actually get a place I will email all you guys the address .

So the road trip has been great although some parts of texas have been a little strange. I need to get a truck and a big big cowboy hat, then I would fit right in . IN AUSTIN NOW!! What a Blast , the one saving grace of texas. 2 days here then to mississippi.

Kirk Ultra and myself (Moxie Chrome) are travelling to LA this weekend to say goodbye to longtime friend and Alliance member jimi trashcan wardlow who is leaving California to seek his musical fortune in Nashville, TN. Of course, other Electric Children live around the globe, so being a few states away doesn’t mean we can’t keep in touch or work on projects together. It only means we won’t get to see each other quite as often. We will miss you, trashcan. Take care of yourself, good buddy. We wish you all the best. We know you’re gonna dazzle Nashville, and win her heart.
