This is Alienese, one of the two alien languages from Futurama, which can be found written all over the backgrounds of the show throughout the series. The fonts for both languages can be downloaded here.
The next Futurama movie is coming out on June 24th! The movie is called The Beast with a Billion Backs, and features David Cross as the voice of a tentacled planet-sized alien from another universe with romantic interests “in every single living being in our universe.”
It sounds like Futurama’s going Lovecraft.
The descriptions of the fourth movie are getting me really excited too.
According to David X. Cohen, the movie will have a “real epic sci-fi story that involves this ancient battle that’s been going on for billions of years and our crew of course ends up in the middle of that. It ends on a real sweet note and we’ll be content with that if it’s the last we ever do.”
According to the DVD Commentary of Bender’s Big Score, the truth about the mysterious “Number 9 Man” (seen in Season 1, Season 2 and Bender’s Big Score) will be revealed, and he will be given a speaking role.
It’s called Into the Wild Green Yonder, but I have no idea when that or Bender’s Game are being released.
